W.E.L.L Method

The W.E.L.L method was created to reflect the inductive study. It is best used as a tool to help a person journal through Scripture and reflect on what they have studied.

Scripture Journaling

Scripture journaling is a tool to help you engage with God’s Word. It is designed to move your Bible study from head knowledge to an outward expression and acknowledgment. Journaling helps you meditate, reflect, express, and apply what you have read.

How to journal

Journaling can be done through free thought, poetry, prayer, or art. Journaling can be done in the margins of your Bible, inside a specific notebook, or as a footnote to a Bible study. Journaling is not limited or restricted to any one method. If you have never journaled before, Psalms is the easiest book to begin our Scripture journaling journey because Psalms itself is a journal. The book of Psalms is filled with songs, poems, prayers, and emotional expressions by man to God. The W.E.L.L method is modeled after how most of the Psalmists have expressed their hearts to God.
